Here’s a neat video of a local Peterborough-ite making a difference in the Otonabee!
Christine Jaros took matters into her own hands when the great flood took over a hydro pole and left two metal sleeves in the Otonabee. After years of calling other groups to remove these sleeves, she created a raft out of reused materials and brought them to shore with a kayak. Everything was recycled/reused in the end!
